17/03/2024: Excelent location, nice rooms except the bathrooms, which are small and shower cabin it's just two glass doors, hard to make a shower without a foot bath everywhere.

02/04/2024: This restaurant is very clean and tidy. The atmosphere was very nice and you felt very comfortable. It is very pleasant to be there especially because of the staff/waiters. He was very close to customers and you felt like a friend or acquaintance with him. Only one thing among the hot drinks there is only coffee and unfortunately no tea or similar.

The atmosphere is friendly and family-friendly, which means you can spend nice moments with your loved ones without worrying about high bills. 02/11/2023: Simply great, unfortunately they are taking a winter break from November to March. We also drive 1 hour so that we can eat there when we are on vacation in Denmark.

29/03/2024: We have been coming to Café Gaflen again and again for years. We still know the old café in the center of Hvide Sande well, but the new café at the harbor is actually much nicer and better.
Food is always fresh and delicious. The employees are all very friendly and the cleanliness is absolutely top. We'd love to keep coming back.

30/03/2024: We were there several times and tried warm food and soft ice cream. The prices are reasonable and the staff was always friendly. We can particularly recommend the bubble waffle with soft ice cream. Another plus point is the clean toilet on site and the German service.
27/03/2024: I don't know where I last had the urge to come back during my stay. That was my best burger in years, and I didn't just eat one there.
The burgers are amazing.
I can also highly recommend the bubble waffle, as well as the ice cream and soft ice cream.
All in all, it more than exceeded my expectations on my first visit and a second visit didn't disappoint me either, on the contrary, another burger and I was even more surprised than on my first visit.
An angel must prepare the food in this kitchen. All the best to the people who work there and have shown me how much love and skill goes into making a good burger!
I will be back again.

25/03/2024: Very nice restaurant, right on the water. The interior is really nice and really comfortable. The food is simply delicious! The menu is small but nice. We've all found something we like. In fact, we have very rarely eaten something so delicious. None of that 0-8-15. The prices for the food are more than justified! We eat there every holiday now.
Heartfelt recommendation! 👍🏼

01/04/2024: Great bread, great pastries BUT: it is noticeable that the Træstamme have less and less chocolate and a thinner marzipan coating. Over the last two years it has become less and less from half year to half year. Also more expensive. A pity

31/01/2024: Jeg fejrede min 70 år dag i kælderen på Sandgården. Efter et møde med Lars (restauratøren) blev alt aftalt mht. menu og vine. Lars kom med mange gode forslag, som vi syntes om, og accepterede.
På dagen forløb alt til perfektion. Velkomstdrink med smagsmæssige overraskelser, i hvert fald for flere af gæsterne, dertil Sandgårdens egen importerede Champagne.
Alle retter serveret smukt og præsenteret af Køkkenchefen, garneret med små anekdoter, dertil perfekt afstemte vine. Et mindeværdigt arrangement.
Vi kigger altid ind når vi er i Søndervig, og får skøn mad og dejlig betjening af både Lars og tjener Jørn, tak for det.
