Excellent restaurant and definitely the best thing about the Villa Hotel Three of us had an excellent business dinner here with very large portions and a great wine list. The service was also superb.

Stayed near the airport in Copenhagen for a couple of days to prepare to go back Singapore 🇸🇬. Decided to go for a very good dinner at Kontrast before heading home. We didn’t have any reservations, and the restaurant was packed. Luckily, there were some seats at the side. We didn’t know what to order, so we asked their staff for recommendations and we ordered 👍👍👍. The white & red wine pairing goes well with the Monk Fish and Danish Veal. Food is really good. Oyster 🦪 is abit small, so we ordered 4 more. 🤣. We had a wonderful meal at Kontrast on 2/2/2024. Just found the time to write this review after coming back to Singapore 👍

Some dishes are very good, others need reviewing, certainly too salty. Overall it was a lovely evening, nice venue and service!

Unique experience and fantastic food. For the first time after living in Copenhagen for several years I found a restaurant with excellent customer service and attention. Tova, the girl who took care of my table, was impeccable, professional and attentive to every detail, she was able to advise me on everything I chose. Really very professional and friendly. Fantastic carpaccio and lamb, carpaccio with a complex flavor and combinations, the lamb cooked to perfection, very soft and a very good sauce that tied it all together..... The dessert.... What can I say, I was left speechless, caviar and yuzu special combinations and without excess with sugar, balanced to perfection and in perfect Nordic style Until next time!!! Update September 2023 Ravioli and risotto as fantastic as the meat!!! Nothing has changed, attentive staff and top chef!!! But pleaseeee put back the chocolate dessert with yuzu and caviar, the only thing I wouldn't order again is the lava cake... Otherwise really excellent.... You deserve a ⭐ when?! February 2024 Maybe the chef has changed, at least I didn't see the chef I knew, however very similar style and always top, very refined combination of flavors and techniques. Spectacular endive salad and delicious meat!!!

Great restaurant in a beautiful location. I think we enjoyed the best food here during our stay in Copenhagen. We had the Grilled Danish Veal Rib Eye with the Mashed Patatoes which was perfect. Very friendly staff, liked and appreciated their presentation when they brought the food. Crème Brulée was very tasty as well. Highly recommend.

Was there this week for a large group meal. The food was excellent - they really took the time to cater to all the dietary needs. The waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

The food was not satisfying enough, luckily there was bread. They did not have the drinks that we would like to have on the card

En dejlig skøn oplevelse. Stedet emmer af charme og der er liv som afspejler Kødbyen. Betjeningen ( har haft samme tjener før ). Helt fantastisk og virkelig et livstykke. Det gør bare at oplevelsen bliver fuldendt. Maden er utrolig lækker og der er ingen tvivl om at det er råvarer af høj kvalitet.

The food was a little salty, but otherwise very good. The service was great, but slowed much more towards the end, and not necessarily in a relaxing laid back way, but in a I'm getting hungry again way. The server though was very nice and the atmosphere was beautiful. The tables were however very close to each other, about 20cm between each table of two, just enough to squeeze into and out of the booth end of the table.
