Really good local bakery. Good jordbærtærte and their fancy breads are almost as good as those modern fancy ones you see on Instagram, and after 3 hours it’s the same anyway! Toasts great too and they can slice breads at the shop, which is too much to ask for in many hip places. I really like the durum option. I think these guys hit the good sweet spot: some immigrant influenced stuff, some classic Danish stuff, the hip sour dough bread almost as good as the insanely expensive places, and they’re also very consistent (places like Andersen & Maillard and Hart sometimes have a bad day and these Brødhjørnet guys are always just good). And they’re super friendly too, sometimes they chat. Prices are as expected, not super cheap but they’re a decent bakery so that’s fine. Their hindbærsnitte is BIG, good value for money!
