The best place to stop for a coffee in Aalborg!

My husband and I were on a tour of Denmark and visited Aalborg. Unfortunately, we didn't discover breadbykaerup until our departure day. The coffee was delicious, but the homemade, still-warm bread with butter and cheese was so good that we're still talking about it today. I've never had such good bread or a roll in any other country. We would come back again!

Friendly staff, good pastries, a little expensive but the bread is good, so I'm willing to pay for it☺️

Bread by Kaerup: breads, pastries and coffee specialties in uncompromising quality. We were in Aalborg this year in June and July and - after discovering this gem for ourselves in 2022 and 2023 - we were able to visit William and his colleagues several times again this year. We tried almost all the baked goods and they were all excellent. But let's go one step further and reflect that the breads are not only incredibly tasty when they are fresh out of the oven, but are also still delicious after several days - this simply shows the quality, care and love that William and his team put into their baked goods. So expect the very best baked and pastry goods but I can tell you that the coffee specialties can keep up with this crazy high standard. Great! All the staff are very nice. To borrow from the Michelin Guide, both the pastries and the specialty coffees are at least worth a detour, if not a special journey. 5 out of 5 stars in the Google system, 2 to 3 stars according to Guide-Michelin.
