Nice eatery that is picky about the dishes, the service is professional and attentive. Difficult to choose between the delicious dishes and wines on the menu. It is a beautiful place that is protected and the hard surfaces sometimes create bad acoustics. The staff were aware of that and when we had a couple of older hearing-challenged guests with us we were given another table. So no complaints from here can only be recommended ❤️

One of the best places i have eaten in Denmark. Its French fine dining.

One of North Zealand's better places to eat

We were there during dining week and got a 5-course menu with accompanying wine menu plus a snack dish. Tasty but by no means impressive.

All the food we had was delicious which does not happen at this price point very often anymore. We had the chardonnay as well which was surprisingly good! Love love love when you get complimentary freshly baked bread with whipped butter. Such a rarity, especially when the bread is THAT good. Nothing better than going out and just being happy with everything you get, what a nice evening! We’ll definitely be back in the summer for a meal outside in the sun ☀️ Only regret is that we didn’t try this place earlier!

Nice restaurant with well-prepared delicious food

Près du musée en plein air (Frilandsmuseet) dans la charmante campagne au nord de Copenhague , on trouve le restaurant Brede Spisehus. C'est en effet l'ancienne cantine - ou refectoire - des ouvriers d'une ancienne usine fermée il y a longtemps. Le décor est époustouflant - plafonds hauts et décorés de verre, murs peint et couverts de beaux carrelages - abrite cette grande salle dans un air de fin de siècle. Belles tables dresses à l'ancienne - et on y déguste un bon dejeuner (ou diner). Nous étions venus pour un dejeuner pas trop lourd 'ce qui avait un peu l'air d'étonner et irriter notre serveur. Pas d'alcool en voiture néanmoins. Nous avons opté pour la tartare de boeuf aux chips de topinambours, avec une mayo assaissonnée et du fromage rapé par-dessus. Sur le côté des pommes de terre écrasées au citron - et un pain délicieux avec du beurre battu. Le café est servi dans des pots à l'ancienne - pas de machine pour faire espresso hélas. C'est quand même le café que je préfère pour digérer. La carte des desserts manquaient un petit truc frais et pas trop conséquent 'nous avons donc sauté le dessert. Mais surtout grace au cadre un excellent endroit - mais certainement un peu luxe.

Lækker restaurant med meget imødekommende personale. Maden var meget veltillavet og lækker, præsenteret på delikat måde.
