Good Hotel with amazing breakfast. Only bad thing we experienced was that the room was extremely hot and there's no fans at all. We woke up multiple times sweating like crazy and even with the windows open there's almost no airflow.

We are delighted with our experience. Sleeping in this hotel is like stepping back in time, the perfect frame of mind for a visit to the museum and the house of Anna and Mickael Ancher. This experience requires tolerance for the imperfections of the building, which charmed us with its authenticity.

A lunch for tired Norwegians after an early crossing from Norway. Everything is as it should be. Delicious open sandwiches, precise and friendly service and a pleasant place. A "little one" is poured with a steady hand. We let the food and drink find their place in our stomachs and think "Hipp, hipp hurray"

We had a wonderful lunch at Brøndums. The building is beautiful, historic and full of wonderful paintings but the restaurant doesn’t rely on atmosphere alone. The food is delicious - we had open sandwiches with very generous toppings - and the service is friendly, charming and very professional. The hotel’s own special spicy snaps made a unique and delicious accompaniment to the food

Located in the middle of the village and close to everything. Excellent service and also food. Quite simply lots of "hygge"... but if you want to live with a shower and toilet, you have to live in the Admiralshuset annex, which is 100 m away.

30/08/2025: This is a lovely restaurant, with a great atmosphere and a lovely spacious terrace. Everything was absolutely perfect. Then there's the food. My girlfriend and I spent a day exploring Frederikshavn and were quite hungry. Restaurant California was perfect for that. My girlfriend had two chicken fillets with ZigZag fries, the Chicken Alfredo, and I ordered the spareribs (American Ribs). The food was delicious; we both enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended. A funny thing was that we gave an extra guest (a cheeky seagull) some fries we couldn't finish. A wonderful experience. If you're in Frederikshavn, definitely eat here; the cheeky seagull completely agrees and is happy to see you. Enjoy your meal for later.
