Brøndums Hotel Frederikshavn

20/08/2025: At first glance, it seems like a cozy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. We looked at the menu, which was displayed on a large board outside, and almost immediately a staff member greeted us. However, she remained standing there, which I found pushy. Because the menu appealed to us, we decided to eat here. While we were still trying to sit down, the same staff member brought us the menus, again intrusive. Tip: don't do this; let guests sit first and choose their meal at their leisure. She asked twice if we had decided what we wanted to drink/eat, all in less than 10 minutes! This pushy behavior was evident again. The food was delivered very quickly, which I found suspicious, but despite this, it looked and tasted good. Unfortunately, my steak wasn't medium, but well-done. While eating, they constantly watched to see if they could clear the plates, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The price was a bit high for three people. My rating is somewhere in the middle.

16/07/2025: Went in a group of 9 people. Got a seat without any problems. The food was ok, there were several smaller dishes to choose from if you weren't really hungry. However, the same here as many other restaurants, a bottle of water 0.5 l costs 30 DKK. Crazy expensive for water, but seems to be the norm here.
