On a cold December day it was good to enter this cozy warm bar. Tucked just around the corner from the busy tourist street it feels like you are entering another better world. The menu of open faced sandwiches is varied and prepared fresh behind the bar. Our first Jul beer of the season was much appreciated. Service was swift, friendly and performed with a welcoming smile. Highly recommended.

Located just off the main Nyhavn strip. Small, intimate restaurant serving up great open sandwiches. Very reasonably priced considering what you get. Good, friendly service. Only downside was card only payment and no WiFi to post this review.

Great restaurant, warm and friendly. We came here to try the famous Smorrebrod: great value for money, generous portions, and delicious! Fast service and a responsive and friendly team. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Nyhavn, I definitely recommend this place!

Das Lokal hat einen super Standort direkt Ecke Nyhavn und Tolbrodgade. Es ist alt und gemütlich. Wir erhielten vorm Desk der offenen Küche einen Tisch. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gab 3 verschiedene Smørrebrod. Jeweils belegt mit Roastbeef(wahlweise Lachs), Ei und Garnelen, paniertes Schollenfilet und Majo. Natürlich alles auf Schwarzbrot. Das schmeckt gut und macht satt. Mit Bier und Wasser ist der Spaß nicht ganz günstig. Uns hat es gefallen.

We finally tried one of the traditional Danish dishes, and it didn't disappoint! The three-flavor option was excellent, and the staff was really friendly.

03/10/2025: Super cozy gem where you can enjoy a good glass of wine. Nice surroundings and good music Genuine Italian.
15/09/2025: Peaceful haven for great wine, conversation and great music track playing in background. Went twice we were so impressed, great wine selection and Dennis was very informative about the wine, an artist too. His staff were excellent and attentive. Av price based on food and 2 bottles wine.

25/09/2025: I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The service was very good, the staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help, which made me feel very welcome. I ordered the rib-eye steak, and it was cooked very well: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. To complement my meal, I tried the Oreo milkshake, which was creamy, rich, and simply delicious – the perfect sweet treat to finish off. Overall, the combination of excellent food, a cozy atmosphere, and truly remarkable service made this visit highly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

The variety of dishes was impressive, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the warm breads and cheeses to the rich spreads and freshly prepared hot items, every bite was delicious. The service was excellent as well – friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It felt authentic and relaxing, the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a true taste of Turkish hospitality and cuisine!
