very nice place in the heart of Østerbro, the pistaccio croissant was really good. Deducting one star only because I believe the products (although delicious) are overpriced.

Delicious bread, but not so delicious prices. DKK 55 for an ungreased roll and a tea bircher as takeaway? Quality and taste were top notch, but value for money is not, if you are looking for bakery bread. Will hardly come again if the price does not become more competitive.

BUKA has a lovely selection of filled croissants and pistachio options that look really nice! I went for the orange cinnamon bun as it was recommended by a friend and got an iced latte as well. The service was really nice and the bun was delicious! The iced coffee was okay, could’ve had more ice, but overall you can’t really got wrong with BUKA.

We ate two different cakes with raspberries and cream... Not quite that exciting... Lacked flavor. And the coffee, Americano, was shabby.

I tried the pistachio croissant, and it was insane! The croissant was perfectly crispy and airy, and the pistachio filling was out of this world. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of the other flavors. I also had a cappuccino, and it was exactly as you’d expect—good coffee 😊 Cannot recommend Buka Bakery enough!

You can sense that there is a bit of hype around the chain and some of their baked goods may also be quite good for Instagram, but I got an orange cinnamon swirl and it was on the dry side, while the coffee was nothing to write home about. Nor would I call the place particularly cozy, relatively anonymous except for the red tables.

20/08/2025: As an Italian tourist, I preferred other places to eat. The food isn't bad, but the price is definitely inflated, especially considering the location on one of the city's docks. The view while eating is very picturesque, helping you enjoy what is, all things considered, a good meal. The price is really high for the food and the service/welcome was cold. In short: average, nothing to be missed 🙂‍↕️
