Café Algade Stevns

As the wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of being part of a beautiful wedding celebration at Café Algade in Store Heddinge, Denmark\. The venue is beautiful, with an elegant Baroque\-style atmosphere and a warm, welcoming feeling\. Emmanouil (The Owner ) was incredibly kind, helpful, attentive and hospitable throughout the celebration, making the newly married couple and their guests feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the entire staff contributed to the warm and professional service. It was a pleasure to photograph such a special day in such a beautiful setting. A wonderful place for weddings and other special occasions. Highly recommended. Svetlana Solvason

We only stopped for coffee as the restaurant wasn’t yet open when we rolled into town with our bikes. The owner is quite particular about proper dress and cycling apparel gets you into the lovely back room. The coffee - in our case flat whites, was absolutely delicious. By far the best that we had in Denmark. We chatted with the owner about the coffee and his policy on proper clothing; he let us know that even Tadej Pogaçar and his UCI teammates had to sit in the back room when they rolled in. If you are a cyclist and enjoy good coffee this is a can’t miss. If you plan your visit, I expect that the lunch offering would also be up to snuff.

Excellent restaurant and the best cappuccino in Denmark. Nice atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

Can't imagine a warm day without a fresh filter coffee? Enjoy it here in the pleasant courtyard or on the quiet street in front. And the homemade ice cream dessert is the perfect finishing touch. Friendly staff on site.

The kitchen was already closed at 7 PM!

We attended a small wedding reception here. The food and wine was incredible, the hosts were fantastic. We had a separate room for the reception. The bride and groom were both delighted with the service. All in all, a great time was had by everyone.

Very warm and kind service. I came by late in the evening and they were fully booked for a private event, but very kindly took me in and served me an excellent glass of red wine. I already wanted to return to Store Heddinge for a longer trip, but I think I'll be booking my stay around Cafe Algade's dinner availabilities!

Good place to enjoy life and celebrate. Cozy vibes, warm welcome, perfectly prepared food. Very nice owner. My first time here and i really enjoyed it.
