15/05/2026: Had a stay with dinner. The room was in the Kridthuset and not flashy. The food and service at the inn was top notch, and wonderful to have a lovely breakfast with you view of the sea.

There were several of us that day. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. The weather was nice. So some were out enjoying the nature.

The food is delicious and there is plenty of it.
I had a herring dish and a large chicken salad. They mean BIG when they say BIG on the menu!
The sweet waiter tried to warn me... I should have listened 🙂
11/05/2026: Nice location. But there was no salt or toothpicks on the table. The food seemed like they had forgotten, so we had to ask them to check on that as we had waited an hour and 10 minutes for it. All in all, it took an hour and a half before our food arrived, it was not hot but lukewarm. The 3 at the table who ordered steaks were also only lukewarm, and 2 of them were barely medium rare. The 3rd had ordered it as red as possible, and it didn't have a hint of red in it. Mega delicious shooting stars and a really good spicy burger. If you pushed the wide paper tablecloths that acted as tablecloths, there were some old and really dirty "White" cloth tablecloths underneath.
Not a place we would visit again.. and certainly not with those prices. Not so much as one "We're sorry" or "Let's take 20 kroner off the bill as an apology". No thanks to Udsigten again.
We were there on Saturday, May 9th at noon.

29/09/2025: Flabby/arrogant staff so I didn't eat here.
Parking next door costs 50kr but they advertise that if you buy something here, you get it for free. I asked if I could buy a cup of coffee and pay extra (50kr) for it, to which the staff (woman, name unknown) flabbyly replied that “as it says on the sign you MUST buy coffee and cake as a minimum”. She said a few more sentences in the same vein and had an arrogant attitude, even though I politely replied “ah okay I didn't see that on the sign”. Sick of people rubbing salt in the wound.
Went outside and read the sign again - NOWHERE does it say that you MUST buy coffee and cake (for 75kr) as a minimum. Just standing there as a guest and coffee costs 42kr. Because of her attitude she wasn't worth the trouble even though she was wrong. Judge for yourself, see the pictures. I'm staying away! You can stay for free 5 minutes walk away
26/09/2025: We arrived at the weekend and saw their buffet. Wow, it was a really good experience. There was a good atmosphere and the place was almost full, already at opening time. However, we asked if it was possible to sit outside in the sunny weather, which they were nice and accommodating to. Very soon after, the table was set for us. The food was really good - Danish, good, warm dishes, as well as delicious and fresh salads. Especially the one with strawberries and lemon balm. Definitely worth the money.

07/04/2026: A good place to eat if you’re visiting Stevns Klint. Low-budget options with large portions, perfect after a long day out. It’s conveniently located by the roadside, and there is plenty of public parking available nearby. Simple, quick, and satisfying.
It would be even better if they also served warm drinks.

31/05/2026: Ordered a baked one with tomato sauce, cheese, ham and mushrooms.. Got my pizza half cold and when I mentioned it I was told that's how you get it! If you want it warm through, you should say so, so they can stuff it in the microwave 🤮 I've never heard anything like it! 🤔
21/04/2026: They were open during the weekday lunch hour which was appreciated. The staff did their best to translate to English which was very much appreciated. They assisted us with a high chair for our baby, cleaned it and sanitized it for us. The pizzas were big with lots of toppings. The flavours were good, but a bit different than what I’m use to. The crust wasn’t thick, but it held up with the toppings. Staff was always working; cooking, restocking, tending to customers, etc.

09/11/2025: They cheat with the meat, their so called home made burger is the cheapest disgusting defrosted meat from the freezer, damn how it tastes, the wife and I took 2 bites and threw the rest out. Never buy any burger there….
