Cafe Alma København

It's a classic restaurant with typical Danish decor, a very well-maintained terrace, several rooms inside, a cold atmosphere, no music, and few people, slow and apathetic service, very high prices but within the norm for Copenhagen, we ate 3 hamburgers, very well-made, the bacon very crispy, the fries very crispy, really very tasty, a Caesar salad without anything special, 3 typical beers and 3 coffees and we paid €160.

We have just visited Copenhagen for four days , family of four with two teenagers who usually crave chicken burgers. We ate dinner here twice as the food and service were lovely we had to return. We stayed in Brygge area at hotel Brygge guldsmeden. Cafe Alma is a few minutes walk along clean safe streets. We were served by Gustav and Soren who are excellent danish hosts with perfect English. All of our dishes were super, children ate steaks rare and med rare , and other night Caesar salads, my vegan wife enjoyed the veggie burgers although other options available. I had steak tartare as a main and on second visit the hake which was super. Gustav mixed a lively G&T. Seating inside is good as is outside on street with very warm wall heaters or blankets. Staff setting and service great. Chef clearly knows his dish strengths. Make a visit for lunch or evening meal if you stay on east side of the city.

Hidden gem. Surprisingly good food, highly recommend chicken salad Smørrebrød, Caesar salad and affogato. Can only guess rest of menu is also delicious. The Ukrainian waitress was wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back if have the chance!

The service was slow, but we were warned from the start, so it wasn't a problem. The waitress regularly came to check on us with little appetizers to keep us occupied while we waited. The dishes were generous and well-presented. Tables are available outside or inside.

Very delicious food, but a bit unstructured service

Nice cold beer! We ate there twice during our holiday. Small, easy-to-navigate menu. We had the fish. It was very, very tasty.

Down-to-earth dining with good food at reasonable prices. The wait staff should be able to speak Danish, though.

Had a good experience here. Food was good and the environment cozy. The waitresses were sweet and lovely.

Great staff, amazing atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely worth coming here!
