Café Bryggen Thisted

Excellent service, delicious food, and a good selection for vegetarians and vegans. The location is fantastic and perfect for an afternoon coffee or a draft beer. We'll definitely be back!

We had brunch. It's a combined brunch. The food was beyond reproach. It tasted delicious and was made by real chefs and not just something that was bought in and thrown together like I feel some brunch places can be. It's right next to the water which I imagine can be beautiful in good weather. However, there is a long wait for waiters and food. It's also on the expensive side in terms of price

It was very nice here, the view is great. However, the portion size of the cauliflower salad is very small, which makes it less than ideal value for money. The equivalent of €25 for a dish that barely fills you up is borderline. But it was still very tasty! The service was also very friendly and helpful.

Great location, very nice spot directly at the water front. Avocado-Toast was great, coffee too. The restaurant was not crowded at all. Waitress was nice but too confused. I have ordered Americano with milk (first time ever that I had to pay extra for milk). Milk came quite a bit later after we have asked again. One of us had the soup of the day with bread. Bread was forgotten and was delivered after we had asked, when the soup was already eaten up. We had also ordered sourdough bread with whipped brown butter. That was also forgotten, and after we had asked we got the bread with two little packs of normal butter. And that for 49 DKK. If it is served like this it should be mentioned on the menu and deserves a lower price. So all in all it was disappointing but the nice location and the sun made up for it a little bit.

We went for brunch. And it was actually really good. The only thing I think is less service-minded is the constant extra charge for several of the dishes - and that a small portion of sourdough bread costs 30,- per person. We ended up paying 100,- extra for bread and about 200,- on top of the brunch for the dishes where there is an extra 20,- etc. When there are 6 people going, it adds up...Without coffee but with juice and water, we ended up with 1800,- for 6 people. I think that is expensive for brunch.
