Café Ella Horsens

Fabulous steak sandwich. Truly a fantastic experience and understandable that they are the steak sandwich of the year. And again in 2023 voted best steak sandwich Once again fantastic food in 2026

Was for the steak sandwich. It has been voted Denmark's best again. I agree that it is good, but I had it before at cafe Ella (the first time it was voted Denmark's best) and I remember it as a thank you better last time. It is more in the direction of the steak sandwich you can get elsewhere. Still a fantastic steak sandwich though.

Best Steak Sandwich ever...... Only bad thing is that I have so far to go there... 😜 Definitely recommended, good food and good service.

From the service to the beer to the freaking delicious and over the top sandwich ...this is an absolute must stop for those visiting the wonderful city of Horsens.

Epic steak sandwich, fast and friendly service.

Ok steak sandwich, everything is homemade and well-cooked, but it gets a bit too big and difficult to eat as a whole and you end up eating various components individually...

I was there about a year ago and wasn't super happy with the size of the steak sandwich, could have eaten two that time, but it was put to shame in every way today when I stopped by again, it was no less than a fantastic steak sandwich and there's no way I could have eaten one more today. Fantastic staff and you can only wish the place all the best in the future. I'd love to come by again, I fully understand that the demand for steak sandwiches is so great in Horsens with this basse they offer at Café Ella. See you next time.

Michelin defines 2 stars as: excellent food that is worth a detour. I like to go to Cafe Ella to get Denmark's best steak sandwich 😋👌 On the terrace in the sun with a view over the art park and not least with a cold draft beer in hand - it doesn't get much better than that 💪

Small cafe under the stairs to the art museum, very delicious and well-prepared food, you will be full. Table reservations are recommended.

Food 5/5, delicious quality ingredients - and plenty of them. Service top 5/5, nice people with smiles on. Atmosphere 5/5 - you're sitting in an art museum, what's not to like.
