Nice location, simple pub a bit expensive for what you got "simple" - but the location is really good on a quiet street near the pulse and Nørreport in Copenhagen.

We drove by with the goal to go some other place but Gavlen looked so nice and cozy from the outside that we had to go in. Sounds funny but it actually smells cozy in there. We had a great time and will recommend the place to friends

31/08/2026: The food was very very good. The only negative is you must order at the counter. That process is typical in Copenhagen so not a big deal. They were busy all day and night

22/08/2026: Absolutely incredible experience at Scottish! If you’re looking for a place with an amazing atmosphere, great drinks and genuinely unforgettable service, this is THE place to go. Gabriel and Dean deserve a special mention because they are absolute legends. These two are hands down some of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. They’re funny, welcoming, insanely good at what they do, and somehow manage to make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. The energy they bring behind the bar is unmatched.
