Café Glyptoteket København

A cute cafe in the winter garden of the Glyptotek. The prices are definitely higher than the average cafe, but the palm trees and plants around you make it worth it. The tea and strawberry cake were tasty.

Very nice terrace, no complaints there. The dark chocolate cookies are great! Would recommend going there while looking at the museum!

Beautiful little places for some snacks. The Gateau Mârcel was delicious, however the pavlova was VERY firm. We needed a knife to cut through it and it was very chewy, so beware it’s not a flaky, soft and crumbly pavlova.

The cappuccino was good, the staff friendly, and the service pleasantly civilized - a small miracle in places where tourists and caffeine collide. Prices are operating confidently in the “museum artifact” category, but apparently you also pay for the privilege of drinking coffee surrounded by palm trees and cultured people pretending not to be tired. And honestly? Finishing a visit to Glyptoteket by sitting here feels almost mandatory. A little overpriced, a little pretentious, and somehow still absolutely worth it.

Lovely atmosphere and a nice setting overall. Food and drinks were decent but nothing particularly memorable.

Really cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings to take a break in. I had their tiramisu, which was really good and definitely recommended! The coffee was on the sour side, which is not exactly my taste, but it was otherwise ok. Unfortunately, the price level is a bit of a drag. Charging 65 kr. for a bun with cheese is far above what can reasonably be expected, so I chose to skip it. All in all, a nice place to sit, but you have to be prepared for the steep prices.
