Cafe Halvvejen København

We were in for lunch about two weeks ago and had an outstanding experience. The food was absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is quaint and small. And service was terrific and very friendly and helpful. It was our first experience with the local cuisine and absolutely loved it. Will come back again.

Great Danish style bodega, cheap prices and good atmosphere

I tried the Danish stew – it was absolutely delicious and highly recommended! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. A small, cozy café/pub with really good food.

I loved it. You can eat typical Danish dishes there from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., at affordable prices, or just for a drink. Very warm and friendly welcome.

One of Copenhagen's absolute coziest places. The sandwiches are made fresh when ordered. Good prices. A very cozy basement venue that for a Swede feels genuinely Copenhagen. The staff is very friendly and service-oriented. In addition to the good food, the range of beer and schnapps is large. It's fine to just slip in and have a beer at the bar, but for those who want to sit down and enjoy the delicacies from the kitchen, a table reservation is a must. Halvvejen is my absolute favorite in Copenhagen. The place can be warmly recommended.
