Café HAV Varde

There were four of us and we had a magnificent meal there. The menu is small, but the food is top-quality. The price is reasonable for the quality and the service. The dessert was amazing. You definitely have to try everything! You can either choose from the wine list or, even better, enjoy one of the 12 different, very high-quality beers from the in-house brewery. The master builder brews these with love and dedication, making them absolutely top-notch beers.

We had a very good meal there and the beers from the in-house brewery are highly recommended.

We ate here at the end of our vacation. It was indescribably delicious 😋. We both thought we hadn't eaten so well in a long time. Only to recommend.

Unfortunately, when we reserved a table, we weren't told that we also ordered breakfast at the same time and there was no instruction on how the process worked when we arrived, so we had to ask. The drinks coffee, tea, water and juices are self-service. The breakfast is brought to the table and was very tasty, class instead of mass. But unfortunately, not vegetarian for me. I would think it would be good if you were at least asked when making your reservation whether you knew that it was a “standard breakfast”. The atmosphere is very cozy and we otherwise really liked it. I also learned something again: you have to inform yourself beforehand and then I could definitely have easily pre-ordered vegetarian!
