A super nice, quaint, cozy café. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Delicious cakes and coffee. Small menu but perfectly adequate. We had a lovely afternoon there. Thanks to the team.

I have been to Café Hilmen several times. It has been good quality and cozy. It could have been like that last week too. We were a party of 5 who wanted to buy lunch with everything. My son is mentally handicapped. He is quiet, polite and not a bother to anyone. The only thing he liked on the menu was their spaghetti bolognese. My son is 28 years old, so when we ordered bolognese for him, we were told that it was only for children. We wanted to pay more for the meal and pointed out that he is a little different from others - so it was not to be difficult. They would not sell it to us, even after talking to the kitchen. We had to buy a vegetarian lasagna for him instead, in the hope that this could make up for the bolognese. It could not. Half of it was rock hard and could not be eaten and there was a lot of salad on the plate - which he does not eat. This ruined the atmosphere and we were shocked by the lack of flexibility for some otherwise well-paying guests. So: the place is fine in many ways. But this simply must not happen. It is beyond criticism - both the lack of service and the completely bad vegetarian lasagna.

We relaxed here...great location in the harbor...various seating...drank delicious coffee and ate little sweets/rum balls. It's a shame the service wasn't great. Nevertheless, I would go back here again, because on vacation you have time ☺️

Probably one of the most beautiful and cozy breakfast cafes I've visited. Super delicious food and large portions. Really nice service.
