All in all, a fantastic experience in the best cafe atmosphere. Super cozy atmosphere and almost like visiting grandparents. The home-cured salmon on toast was a real eye-catcher. And the addition of a (maybe two) cold lines of akvavit certainly didn't make it any worse.

15/08/2026: While Axelhus is no longer the iconic dive bar it once was this sister bar at least offers some better beer alternatives. To Øl on tap, and in the fridge, alongside Brew York. Fed up with fizzy industrial lager? Well then this is the place for you.
04/08/2026: Best service staff, nice girl from Gothenburg. The food was as good as ever. Smørrebrød with egg and shrimp was tasty and good. Breaded fish with fries was highly recommended!
