Café KiK Hillerød

Great place, nice staff but they mostly only speak English. The food was fantastic and came super fast.

Today was our first visit to Café KiK in Hillerød - and it was a really good experience.. Sweet, smiling, and service-minded employees in the exciting restaurant.. The building has previously been both a hole - and a nightclub - but now buzzes with a cozy atmosphere, and with a diversity that is very interesting.. The brunch that we both had was really good.. Find it on their menu.. We both look forward to visiting Café KiK again, so we can enjoy more of their well-prepared dishes.. The best recommendations from us..

Expensive, but good and nice view on a summer day

I ordered a "new" dish that is supposed to be the Italian risotto with Nduja. It was more of a rice porridge taste I got, as I think milk was used and the Nduja, which should be an Italian sausage, was overcooked and not tasty. The dish is a failure and I wouldn't eat it even if I was paid to do so. The waiter brought the wrong drink that we hadn't ordered and it seemed like the person got mad because we pointed it out.

Nice food a little long on drinks

Cosy enough place down by the water across from the castle. Foos is good but please note that ”kitchen opening hours” is not necessarily an indication of when to expect the kitchen to be open. Slow nights, means closing early. Judging from the party downstairs, it can be a really good place to let out some steam.

The location is beautiful, with incredible views of the castle by the lake, very good value for money, and excellent service from the staff.

Het eten was niet vies, maar ook niet fantastisch; de hamburger was begraven in saus en was vrij rauw van binnen, de zalm was droog en klein. Wel vriendelijke bediening en het eerste restaurant in Denemarken waar we met onze hond binnen mochten zitten. Serveerster gaf onze hond een bakje water en kwam regelmatig vragen of we nog iets nodig hadden. Lekkere (speciale) koffie en biertjes.
