Service with a smile, a fart and a fuss and finally really good food at reasonable prices.

The joy was great and the expectations high when my friend and I got to see our old teenage idol this evening, unfortunately the concert was canceled an hour before it was supposed to start, but despite the disappointment we had a wonderful evening where we got the best service and lovely food at Cafe Lindevang. We send Karsten a kind thought when he first had to refuse to have a free table, after which he had stood in the street in sub-zero temperatures to scout for us because a reserved table was empty and he took pity on us and invited us back into the warmth. And even though the menu advertises or warns that it is the city's worst food place, we at least did not experience that the café lived up to that slogan. Happy employees, cozy atmosphere, good old-fashioned Danish food. We will definitely come again🖤🙏🤘 (with or without Marylin Manson)

Always good food and fantastic service

Fantastic cozy place, and cosy. The food is nothing to complain about, you shouldn't order more than two pieces of smørrebrød, because one piece of tartare fills the whole plate, but delicious.

Really good - all trad Danish food, cooked properly and without regard for calorific content 👍 as far as I can see there are no vegetarian or vegan options (or even possible manipulations to achieve them) on the menu. It's pretty popular, so you're well advised to book ahead, you may well be disappointed if you just turn up and hope. The lunch menu differs to the evening menu (check menus on their web page) so you will not get possibly the best Weinerschnitzel in CPH for lunch, only for dinner. Please note that they offer proper Weinerschnitzel (ie the real thing, Veal) and not the cheaper pork 'schnitzel'. Friendly and effective staff, some nice beers on tap. A good place, reliable, and regular prices for the neighborhood.

He frecuentado Café Lindevangen durante muchos años. El servicio siempre es genial, y me encanta la comida danesa. Esta vez fuimos cuatro amigos que fuimos a cenar a principios de enero. El menú de la cena se centra en la comida danesa. Ninguno de nosotros tenía entrantes, porque francamente, nadie se va con hambre después del plato principal allí. Tenía las albóndigas danesas (frikadeller) con patatas, salsa y varias guarniciones. Las albóndigas estaban bien hechas y sabrosas, y la comida en su conjunto era genial. Mis amigos recibieron buenas comidas y todos estaban bien satisfechos. Con ella tomamos cervezas y vino. Un amigo comió una hamburguesa con huevo frito, otro un wienerschnitzel y otro una carne inglesa. Los condimentos para los platos varían ligeramente pero efectivamente todos vienen con una salsa marrón, papas de varios tipos, y algunos extras dependiendo del curso elegido. En cuanto al precio, es muy razonable, y aunque el lugar está ligeramente fuera de la parte más central de Copenhague es fácil de llegar. Los platos del almuerzo son demasiado grandes a mi gusto, pero entonces por eso voy allí a cenar.
