Cafe Marks Spisehus Halsnæs

We came at 2pm for a late lunch and wanted a sandwich. We were greeted by Mark's mother with a smile and a chat that immediately made us feel at home. We got 4 pcs. smørrebrød and it tasted fantastic together with a cold draft beer. Deliciously fresh, highly coated and without a lot of unnecessary decorations. The place is cozy (probably best in the summer season), the service really welcoming and professional and the food was spot on. We will come again 👍

North Zealand's most authentic dining house. The closest I have come in Denmark to a family trattoria, where mother and father serve while son Mark stands in the kitchen and produces real Danish food of really high quality. Can recommend so much, but the egg cake and their smørrebrød (which is also available in the evening) is a great culinary experience. Can be highly recommended.

We have been to eat at Mark's restaurant. Super delicious piece of meat that was fried perfectly with homemade béarnaise sauce. 100% a visit and worth the money

Really good experience. Despite being busy, they managed to create a good atmosphere with an eye to children feeling seen and welcome. The food was top notch and there was plenty. Thank you for a pleasant evening 🥰

We picked up the Christmas menu and followed the cooking instructions, there was plenty of food and it was super delicious.
