A restaurant that has everything it needs to be a success. We ordered a 3-course menu. The starter (salmon) was really good, the main course (guinea pig) was not at a level that lives up to this place. The dessert (chocolate mousse) was also good. The restaurant is really nice, with white tablecloths on the tables and generally very cozy. Our experience was that there were too few waiters to serve the guests. For example, we got the main course before we had ordered wine for the main course. There was also a long time between the starter and the main course.

Cozy place in nice surroundings. Friendly staff, we ordered beef with chips and bread - as the latter must be ordered. In addition, an IPA quite full and reasonable bitterness for the meat. The meat was tender but unfortunately very salty and could have tasted more. You also have to order water yourself. Ok experience but not one that scolds either positively or negatively - now it was also quite ordinary. Tuesday evening we were there.

22/03/2025: We tried again after a break of several years, when we had a bad experience with sour salmon last time. But everything should have a second chance. The food was standard sushi, neither mind-blowing nor boring, a solid meal that did no harm. However, there was a bit of a crunch with the beers in the company, which had no use and tasted sour. The owner was very incomprehensible about this, despite us having industry experience ourselves and therefore knowing what the problem was, they were nice enough to pull the bill, so no problem with that. The premises are nice enough, a bit boring but definitely not bad either. However, there was a long wait for the food and it came with a big time difference, so one group was almost finished when the next got their food. All in all, an excellent sushi experience in Randers. I wonder if we will come back later and see if the beer on tap has gotten better 😉
