Friendly, helpful and really professional team working at Café Olai. The food was really good and tasty and the patio we sat in was really cozy. Lovely restaurant with a good food tradition. We definitely recommend and will definitely come again when we come to Helsingør next time.

Fantastisk oplevelse, den sødeste betjening og det lækreste mad. (Det er virkelig længe siden jeg har fået så god mad på restaurant) Dejlig restaurant til børn hvor der bliver gjort noget ekstra med overraskelser. GENIALT!!

14/08/2025: I've only heard good things about the place, it was everything above expectations. Really good sushi, there's flavor in every bite. Super nice staff, very accommodating. It won't be the last time.
22/07/2025: Sublime sushi and warm-hearted owners! Everything is fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the atmosphere is lifted by owners who are truly passionate about both the ingredients and the guests. Can only be recommended!

The moroccan recipe

26/10/2025: We had the royal lamb plate. It was very warm and looked tasty. Unfortunately there was a strong smell in the meat that went front of the taste of other Ingredients. Seems like they don’t use spice in their food probably due to locals preference may be. But I would recommend cooking based on Authentic Moroccon style and spices, and plz fix the smell issue in the food. Everything else is great. Very kind hospitable lady took our order and served in less than 10 mins.
18/10/2025: We arrived shortly before closing time and therefore could not get food but had some good drinks. Next time we are in the area we will try the food. Good drinks, good service and a super cozy place.
