really nice sandwiches for the price... The host was fantastic and had a good sense of humor. definitely a plus point in this pretty sunny courtyard.

We visited Café Onkel in Bogense today, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The cozy location sets the mood perfectly. The café has a lovely backyard and cozy rooms, which VisitNordfyn has highlighted. We shared a selection of their nachos, both with and without jalapeños, as well as a portion of crispy fries. The nachos were delicious and well-balanced with cheese, salsa and spices, and the jalapeño variant gave just the right extra edge without going too crazy. The fries were freshly baked, perfect in structure and not too greasy. The consistency was just right, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service also deserves a big plus. The staff was welcoming, smiling and professional, exactly as users have mentioned when they write about the café's friendly staff and great pride in serving, as has been read elsewhere. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, and you immediately feel welcome. It is clear that Café Onkel cares about quality and local roots, several have noted their focus on fresh, delicious ingredients and it is a café with soul and warmth. For a quick snack or a cozy moment in the city, you really get a lot for your money. All in all, a super positive experience with tasty snacks, cozy surroundings and wonderful service. We look forward to the next time.

Delicious homemade burger and good service

Anyone seeking authenticity and appreciating people with character will be in good hands here. Café Onkel has a very friendly team. The food and drinks are authentic and down-to-earth, served with taste. No frills, but delicious. The atmosphere brightened our day. Thank you for still having such honest places.

We had a delicious meal here; the owner speaks German, and they also have a German menu. Despite the strong wind in Bogense, we sat comfortably outside in the sun in the backyard, nicely sheltered. There was a high chair and a puzzle for our daughter, and everyone had a kind word for her. We'll be happy to come back on our next visit.
