Would highly recommend renting a bike here. Allan was super friendly and gave some great advice on a rough route for my day gravel biking, including a great place to stop for lunch. I will be coming back the next time I’m in Copenhagen!

20 minutes north of Copenhagen on the train. Lovely place for coffee then bike hire (150 DKK for 2 hours touring bike) including helmets. Helpful staff showed us a 2 hour route around Dyrehaven which was lovely! Would recommend to anyone

Had a cappuccino before hiring bikes. Coffee was very good. We payed for bikes for 2 hours and we’re recommended a route around the deer park. It was so peaceful and a very relaxing way to spend our day near Copenhagen. It was 20 mins on the train from Copenhagen central station. Would highly recommend. The bikes were excellent quality too, and helmets were included in the reasonable hire rates.

Allan offers good bikes and great friendly service! He is a people’s person who invests a lot of his time and effort in helping you and making a plan that fits your needs. I showed up late to return the bike because of train problems, but instead of charging extra he offered me a coke. I will definitely be back!

Ce café fait en même temps restauration, vente et location de vélos. Pour des étrangers ce n’est pas une évidence d’entrer dans un café snack pour louer un vélo. On est allé de l’autre côté et on est tombé sur une réparatrice qui nous dit à qui s’adresser. On a dû attendre que la seule employée serve les clients attablés. Mais ce n’est pas grave car on a aperçu le panneau indiquant les tarifs pour deux heures ou la journée. Plus besoin d’embêter la serveuse, on a les infos. Après cette visite étonnante, on a vite vérifié le salaire médian des Danois car quelques chose cloche! Une location à la journée dans un village de banlieue coûte quasi le double d’une location à Paris ou à Berlin. On apprend que le DK est en tête haut la main dans l’UE et que par conséquent louer un vélo de base ici est très très cher pour des pays au pouvoir d’achat largement plus bas. Il faut venir avec son vélo personnel car le secteur est très bike- friendly. On a préféré mettre la somme dans une carte de transports en commun tout compris pour trois jours. C’est plus rentable.après ce n’est pas la faute du café Parforce, il suit les tarifs habituels du secteur. Le hic c’est qu’on n’a pas pensé à entrer dans un snack pour louer un vélo. Donc on a cherché ce local tout autour de la station avant d’apostropher la réparatrice.

We rented two bikes for an 11 day trip starting in Gedser. The owner agreed to bring the bikes from Copenhagen to Gedser for a small fee and even invited us to a beer and gave us very welcome hints about nice places to visit and camping sites to stay. The bikes were top and the repair set included stuff for fixing small tire punctures, screwdrivers and a replacement tube. Even though we did not get the best weather on our trip we got the best service and nice cake when we arrived in Kloppenborg.
