Café Parforce - Bike Rentals Lyngby-Taarbæk

Amazing place for renting bikes! I rented a good quality gravel bike to cycle a big chunk of the Kattegatleden and got lights, lock, repair kit and pump included in the price (1500kr for 9 days). The communication is a bit slow through email/Instagram DM but in person the service was 10/10. I made my reservation online. Would return and recommend!

This was the only place I could find in the Copenhagen area that rents road bikes, but the experience was not great. We reserved two bikes well in advance, however when we arrived they did not have one of the bike sizes available so we were forced onto a larger bike. Helmets do seem to be included in the rental (despite the website encouraging you to add-on a helmet rental for 50 kroner / day), however don't rely on your size being available! There was only 1 small helmet available, the rest were L/XL. The employees were friendly but clearly understaffed, and left us to search for a helmet in the backroom. One of the bikes they rented to us had underinflated tires and a leaky tube with a faulty valve. My recommendation is to arrive early in the day, as I imagine more stock (bike sizes, helmets, etc.) will be available. A reservation, despite being fully prepaid, is not a guarantee that they will have what you've reserved in stock!

I rented a bike and rode around the park! I saw deer and it was so nice. The staff were friendly too. I recommend it :-)

We rented a daily bike with my girlfriend thats cost 400DKK as total. They informed us about the cycle route in dyrehaven. Very helpful staff, it was a dreamy experience, highly recommended

Cafe Parforce is the best place to rent a bike when visiting Dyrehaven and or cycling around north of Copenhagen. They have a wide selection of not only commuter bikes but also mountain bikes and road bikes in all sizes for both kids and adults. Alan and his team are also top notch guys taking pride in helping you and your family have a good time while visiting. The best way to visit Dyrehaven in my opinion is by renting a mountain bike. You can more easily cover more ground of this immensely huge park, and get off-road to visit the deer more closely in their habitat. Great experience!
