Cozy and classic place in Copenhagen with good, traditional food and a calm atmosphere.

The food was delicious, but some of the dishes were oddly translated into English, which made choosing a bit tricky. Otherwise, the service was good.

Danish cuisine isn't comparable to Spanish or French food, but it has its merits. This café offers a typical Danish lunch (smørrebrød) with quality ingredients and good preparation, although it's quite expensive for the small portions. They also have good beers and a wide selection of sandwiches and salads, in addition to other typical Scandinavian dishes.

Absolutely loved that place! Old, authentic and cozy. The food was simple and very good, I enjoyed the taste of every single dish.

Highly recommended. We ate various types of herring, a fish, roast beef and meatballs. Nice atmosphere and delicious food.

Delicious Danish food in cozy "old" premises

This cozy restaurant near Kastellet served me a beer (DKK 72) and Danish meatballs (FRIKADELLER, DKK 198), served with potatoes and beets. The meatballs were firm and flavorful, and the meat sauce made them even more delicious. The beets added a refreshing touch. The potatoes were tasty on their own or with the meat sauce. The overall dining environment was comfortable, and the service was friendly. A cappuccino (DKK 40) followed the meal perfectly – very satisfying!
