We've visited the Aquadome. The place offered a good experience for kids and the staff very welcoming and professional, although in my opinion some things could be better managed. You need to bring money or charge an additional, special wristband with money, if you plan to buy food. The queue for the Food Court gets insanely long, while the order of food itself is really fast. The queue for some Swim Rings, needed for sliders is also pretty huge, especially for the green ones. One day parking is about 10 €

There was a cockroach in my room but otherwise it was fun

We took a weekend trip to Lalandia Billund with our two children, and overall it was fantastic and definitely recommended. We booked a holiday home that wasn't too close, but also not too far away, so we used the little train, which makes several stops. This got us to the center relatively quickly without needing a car. Parking is free for the first hour, after which it costs 70 DKK (just under €10) for the day. The price is still acceptable for the whole day; I was expecting worse. Parking is very digital, and payment by card is best. The Lalandia Center is very impressive, with shops, restaurants, children's attractions, a theater, and a supermarket. In my opinion, the prices for food are reasonable; they're definitely not exorbitant. Otherwise, you can just go to the supermarket and buy your own food—normal Danish grocery prices. The service is excellent and very child-friendly; no further explanation needed. We really enjoyed it. ' ...' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' The center includes: - MonkeyTonkey Land a huge climbing cage for kids. If the children don't work up a sweat there, I don't know what will. Very well done! - WinterWorld wasn't used by us, but it has an ice rink and a ski lift with climbing equipment. - Aquadome we didn't have long queues for the slides because it wasn't very busy when we were there, but the Aquadome makes the kids smile, and all the slides, wave pool, water sports, and water park speak for themselves. It was definitely the highlight for us. What we didn't like at all (in our opinion) was the claw machine area, and that's why we're deducting a star. If you want to get to the Aquadome, there's no other way; you have to go past this carnival-like area. All these glittery, noisy plush toys and many other things can only be won with money—Lalandia coins or DKK—by playing the claw machine. Older children don't understand it, younger ones don't, and the younger ones are completely overwhelmed by all the lights and arcade effects. In our opinion, it looks cheap and like pure gambling. Lalandia doesn't need that; there's definitely room for other attractions, not this carnival-like atmosphere designed to squeeze money out of children and parents. Nevertheless, Lalandia is a nice place and worth a visit. This was one of the few things that didn't quite live up to its many positive aspects. We had a very pleasant stay and would like to thank the staff at the attractions again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lalandia Billund and can recommend the resort with a few minor reservations. Our spacious Comfort Plus cottage was a particular highlight, offering plenty of room and being well-equipped. The entire resort is very family-friendly, with a wide selection of diverse playgrounds and sports fields, ensuring children can run around and play to their hearts' content. The indoor facilities are also truly impressive: from the Winter Wonderland and various sports options to restaurants, a climbing wall, and the Sky Ride, there's something for everyone. A real highlight is the tropical water park with its numerous slides, saunas, and infusions – it definitely evokes a holiday feeling. Another major plus is the value for money. For eight days during the Easter holidays, we paid significantly less than for comparable stays at other well-known holiday parks – and that's with a very comprehensive range of activities. However, there are also a few drawbacks: The location right next to the airport runway takes some getting used to. From around 6 a.m. onwards, the aircraft noise makes for a rather unpleasant awakening. Furthermore, the opening hours of the water park are, in our opinion, too short during the off-season. Families, in particular, want more flexibility on holiday – perhaps sleeping in longer in the morning and then enjoying a relaxing swim in the evening, which is currently only possible to a limited extent. It was also a shame that the outdoor climbing park was closed despite the good weather – we would have preferred otherwise. Finally, a personal comment regarding some other reviews: Anyone who consciously chooses a more affordable accommodation should have realistic expectations about the amenities. Likewise, we believe it goes without saying that you should read the terms and conditions beforehand – this way you can avoid surprises with additional costs. Conclusion: A versatile holiday park with great offers for families and very good value for money – with minor drawbacks regarding location and organization during the off-season.

Once you've explored Legoland and the Lego House... It's nice, there are lots of activities...

It works well. Everything is well thought out and just right for families with children. But the ravages of time have already begun to set in. Billund is a city in strong growth and you notice that the municipal coffers are overflowing.

Red house is getting a little worn inside including furniture. Activities and food/drinks in the water park have become expensive.

Pleasant, spacious, and well-equipped accommodation. Perfect for a week's holiday.
