Cafe Rabes Have København

It was a freezing day, and we were walking toward our next destination. We passed this inspiring café, entered, and a beautiful world opened up. The friendly and professional owners made our lunch break a pleasure, offering good, traditional food at reasonable prices in a city setting where restaurants are expensive. We felt immersed in a typical local atmosphere, and we were very pleased.

The best place to get open sandwiches. On a scale of 10 it gets 100. Beautiful place, beautiful and lively service, super cozy place.

Amazing authentic food and great attention from the owner

The staff were friendly and always asked what customers wanted to eat. I ordered the herring curry, which was quite strong. I think it was meant to be eaten with bread. I should have checked more carefully; it was cold that day and I wanted something warm, but the dish was cold.

Old School Danish 'smørrebrød'. Well made classics. The place is sort of a hidden gem and definitely well worth a visit.

Incredibly slow service, but good food, lousy chairs

A wonderfully quaint, long-established restaurant. Only Danes around me. Very friendly service with excellent recommendations for the amount and type of smørrebrød. I'll definitely be back!
