The highlight was the overcrowded and outdated presentation on salt deposits and their extraction and the demonstration of a wood-fired salt boiling plant.

We had a thoroughly wonderful experience at Café Salt. The food was wonderful – we chose the Mariager Fjord dish with freshly fried plaice, juicy prawns, crispy salad and the most delicious homemade butter with salt, served with both rye bread and fresh bread. Everything tasted fresh and of high quality. The service was just as impressive as the food – the staff were sweet, smiling and made us feel welcome from start to finish. And the location is absolutely fantastic – with a view of the water and a relaxed atmosphere, making the place a perfect choice for both everyday life and special occasions. Café Salt gets our warmest recommendations.

Great location, the food tasted good, but the selection was very simple cafe food, and not that big of a selection. But really nice location and great service. It must be said that the kitchen was under renovation and may have affected the menu 😊 Overall a good experience with a beautiful sunset around the corner

It is a small 4 stars. Food and service were really nice. I think the cafe seemed a bit "messy" in terms of the table arrangement, which seemed a bit cafeteria-like. Cozy outside with two greenhouses where you can eat, or at regular tables.
