Café Salt

We had 2 dishes, a lunch dish and a vegetarian pie. The lunch dish gets 5 stars, really good and delicious, and filled us up completely. The vegetarian pie gets 3.5 because it's nothing special. Pleasant service, and an incredibly delicious location with good weather.

Nice to be able to sit outside in the "greenhouse" and enjoy a delicious lunch

We were at the Salt Café in Mariager a few days ago. First of all, a big compliment to the service team – super friendly and always in a good mood. I even got a little help with my Danish – simply lovely. The food is great, it could use a bit more seasoning, but we noticed that almost everywhere in Denmark, so it doesn't seem to be a flaw, but rather typical of the country. We enjoyed our time at the Salt Café; great atmosphere, delicious food, and a great service team. Thank you very much!

Really good experience. I am lactose intolerant and had to come here as part of a trip. The café had not been notified and yet incredibly delicious food was brought to me along with a description of what I could eat from the brunch buffet. It took a maximum of 5 extra minutes. Really good and really delicious.

A slightly different sandwich, really delicious bread, instead of classic sandwich bread, it was 2 slices of bread drizzled with olive oil, delicious fresh salad, juicy chicken, homemade curry mayonnaise. Pickled red onion. We enjoyed this wonderful meal on the quay in a greenhouse, where there was shelter from the rain and the cold wind, with a beautiful view of the harbor and Mariager fjord. Friendly and welcoming and smiling staff.

The food & service are top notch. The service is just so nice & smiling & clearly people who care about their jobs. The food was also really good, while the view & location are top notch. Definitely worth recommending when you are in Mariager.
