Café Sandø København

A small, discreet café on the quays that doesn't look like much at first glance, but is worth it once inside. We are welcomed by lovely staff, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Ideal place for a casually substantial breakfast that will keep you going until the next meal.

Came for my last day in Copenhagen. Result: amazing little café! Great atmosphere and adorable waiters. Breakfast is well served and succulent. I was also impressed by the taste of the coffee!

Had a wonderful breakfast here, I cannot recommend it enough. Actually, it has made me consider moving to Copenhagen. Once I went back home to my miserable life, I realized that I wouldn't be content unless I was eating that breakfast every day.

Cosy lunch spot in a quiet but interesting area. Small menu both for good and drinks. Only minus was not having the dish and drink we wanted to order and the need for ordering inside at the bar. The alternative dish and drink we're very nice.

This place was a love letter to my morning in Copenhagen.

Great place with nice and attending staff. We came in and asked for a table for four. The waiter kindly told us to wait a couple of minutes, while he made room for us in a cosy corner. I had the rye bread with avocado and smoked salmon while my husband had the chicken salat on rye bread as well. While we waited for our food, the waiter brought us water. Both the avocado/salmon and the chicken salat were tasteful, and was plenty of food for lunch. A small recommendable place with a great atmosphere.

First meal in Copenhagen, we came across this restaurant by chance. Corner restaurant, a couple drinks coffee while sunbathing near the canal, typical Danish house. We decide to return without really knowing what to expect. The decoration is sober, refined, each object has its place, nothing is left to chance, we are in Copenhagen. A sincere and warm “welcome guys” is given to us as the first word by the waiter. The menu is presented to us, everything is homemade, natural wine, open kitchen, nothing to hide. Superb presentation of the dishes, perfect seasoning, seasonal, freshness of the products, a first meal which welcomes us to Copenhagen. As soon as you leave, you will want to come back, for their cuisine, their smile, the decor, the sun, their coffee. A great discovery.
