Café Stranden Varde

A cozy café, with the most amazing location, it really brings out the warm feelings, definitely worth a visit, this place has its own soul.

We visited this restaurant several times during our holiday. Mostly, we enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea from the terrace while sipping a glass of Prosecco. We also had dinner there once. We really enjoyed the restaurant itself. It's a shame the menu is only available in Danish. However, using AI solved that problem. The food is tasty. We felt the young team lacked a bit of innovation. You place your order at the counter and receive your drinks at the same time. Payment is made when you order.

Very cozy, beautiful and neat, very friendly

Got a cappuccino and a really delicious cake. Had to pick it up at the counter myself, that's ok. My husband offered to take it himself. Quiet and peaceful, not many guests when we were there,

Since the restaurant is located in a holiday area, they should at least have a menu in English, as some people are put off by it or sit there with their phones trying to translate it. The salad actually goes well with the fish and chips, however, it gets very warm from the fish; perhaps it should be served separately.

We've been coming to this restaurant for years! The wines and champagne are simply fantastic and quite unexpected. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. Yes, fair, just to emphasize that again for my fellow Germans and perpetual complainers! If it's too expensive for you, I recommend the Harz Mountains; you're sure to find something more affordable there. We give it 5 stars – top-notch!
