Cafe Valentin Hillerød

Should have listened to the server when I placed the order for the smorrebrod. They were bigger than I had expected but they were so tasty.

Very nice food with big portions. Lovely Valentin 😉😜 coffee, very tasty. Great service.

A cozy place with lots of Parisian charm and an extensive menu. There is nice, soft music playing in the background and the service was very accommodating. I ordered a plank steak with pepper sauce, the steak was unfortunately a little overdone, but was still delicious and tender, and the pepper sauce lived up to its name with lots of pepper and heat.

Again, the atmosphere is something we contribute ourselves, so forget about that question The food is like the food in hundreds of Danish cafes Boring gray and without exaggeration not worth returning to And yet, it amazes me that Danish cafes, regardless of whether it is a "chain cafe" did not seem to be able to challenge their customers with new experiences, new taste experiences, rather than the usual Menu card I think it is sad that we (yes, including myself) do not challenge them to provide better and more delicious It is a shame Incidentally, the outdoor areas were quite dirty despite a young employee's struggle to keep it clean

We stopped in before visiting the nearby castle. We were impressed with the speed of the service and enjoyed the lunch offerings. I opted for the salmon and avocado salad while my husband went for the chicken salad smørrebrød. Both were tasty and we were able to enjoy a nice but quick lunch so we could spend our time in the castle. I highly recommend this option if you are visiting the castle.

At Cafe Valentin you always get good service, the food is good, the menu is large and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very service-minded, the food comes quickly and the staff is incredibly quick to clear the tables when people are finished eating.

It was really tasty, fresh, beautifully presented. The prices are not too high, corresponding to the quality of the food.

Food is okay but nothing special. Smørrebrød were fine, shooting star disappointing compared to other restaurants in Denmark, burger is okay. Service is good and the waiters are efficient en welcoming. The terrace is very pleasant and well exposed to the sun.

Unfortunately, the waiting time and the incorrectly calculated bill did not leave a good taste in the mouth.
