There is my favorite place during 30 years when I'm in Denmark!

Sat and watched the dishes go by. The drinks served. Other tables sit down, eat and leave. The food is pretty good. Their service was awful, unfortunately. It took us an hour to get our dinner. The place was not very full while we were here.

"The food and atmosphere were lovely; we found the service a little unprofessional. The waiter was a bit arrogant. Overall, the experience was good; it wasn't our first time, and it definitely won't be the last."

Over-promoted snobbery. Mess in the order, our starter came after the main course. The main course was a Ribeye for almost 500 kr. which was cold and max 150 g. The staff was nice and friendly though.

Good service, nice place and a little posh clientele. But the beef is among the toughest I've ever tasted. The bearnaise sauce was just as forgettable. I would rather go there for pure drinks and fun.

Skagen Fiskerestaurant Esplanaden

29/09/2026: Fish and chips here are exceptionally delicious. The smorgasbord trio was outstanding.
20/09/2026: Amazing Moules&Frites, large portion (sharable for 2) so pricing is good in my opinion! Out the back is a wonderful sheltered seating area. Freshly made so takes some time!
