Cakenhagen Tivoli København

We always frequent this place everytime we are in Tivoli. Can get quite crowded inside during the winter time. The Mine is always a delight to eat and the Hibiscus tea is nice for the warm days. Not the cheapest but always worth the visit. Servers are often friendly and will always bring your orders to the table.

The coffee is okay, the service is nice and polite, but the "morning dew" cake was not that good

During my visit to Tivoli Gardens, I stopped at Cakenhagen Café, which turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing parts of the entire day. Nestled within the park yet offering a distinctly more refined and tranquil atmosphere, Cakenhagen served as a welcome escape from the noise, confusion, and crowds elsewhere. The café offered a delightful selection of pastries and desserts, and everything I sampled was of exceptional quality. The stracciatella ice cream was especially memorable—smooth, creamy, and generously laced with fine chocolate shavings that gave each bite the perfect balance of texture and flavor. I also tried a few of their cookies, which were fresh, soft in the center, and rich in flavor without being overly sweet. Their pastries were equally impressive, beautifully presented and clearly made with care and attention to detail. Beyond the food, the ambiance of Cakenhagen was calm and inviting. Whether seated inside or enjoying the outdoor seating area, it felt like a completely different environment from the rest of the park—elegant, peaceful, and thoughtfully curated. It was the ideal place to pause, recharge, and enjoy a few quiet moments in the middle of an otherwise hectic visit. Cakenhagen managed to strike a rare balance: it delivered high-quality desserts in a relaxing space, while still being located in the heart of a bustling amusement park. For anyone visiting Tivoli, especially those looking for a moment of calm or something more refined than typical park fare, I would highly recommend making time for this charming café.

I still dream about their dessert wine

Visited in April 2025. We tried the Cakenhagen cake, træstamme, espresso and cortado. The cake selection was nice, the cakes looked great and tasted good, but not as good as you'd expect based on how they look. The coffee was delicious though. Service was fine and the place is very nice. Overall, I'd be happy to stop by again next time I'm in Tivoli, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Later edit: visited again and tried the Tivoli cake and the lemon pie. Both were rather disappointing. I think I'll stick to admiring the looks of the Cakenhagen cakes from now on, since they look beautiful, but the taste and texture don't live up to expectations for me.
