Fantastic experience on every visit, where this includes is thanks to the warm welcome, good customer service, and fantastic products. It is definitely recommended to stop by if you want a good piece of cake, bread or a good coffee.

A lot of their „pistachio” pastry is pistachio-flavoured and green coloured marzipan, which is misleading and feels a bit didrespectful towards the customer- especially for 46 crowns… They sometimes have pistachio brownie, which is with actual pistachio cream and it’s amazing, as long as it’s fresh. I tried it twice and one time it was dried out and hard, which tells me it was old. It seems like it’s a lottery whether your pastry will be fresh or not, which is a bit unfortunate for the price range they have for the „fancy” cakes. The simple pastries next to the register never disappointed me so far. So if you’re in the area and are looking for a simple sweet treat it’s a nice place. But there is a lot of space for improvement, when it comes to the more expensive cakes. For me it’s a no for now, because of the misleading naming of „pistachio” pastries

Ever since my husband brought home an almond croissant, and had told me several times about the wonderful cakes and delicious sandwiches he and the team ate during breaks when they were laying asphalt in the area, Cakes & friends has been the bakery we visit when we drive to Copenhagen. Their pizzas are tasty and with the most delicious mozzarella. Their tea buns are wonderfully large, airy but at the same time firm and soft in the crumb. They are as filling and satisfying as 4 tea buns from our local bakery. The only disappointment is the size and the feeling of not being able to finish them. The area is super cozy in the summer, where the children can play outside. The only downside is parking at Max 30 min without a parking app.

Highly recommend this place! The specialty coffee is very good, bold and flavorful. The cakes and pastries are also excellent, made with care and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always friendly. A must-visit for cake lovers!

Wow, we again had cakes from Cakes & Friends delivered to the office, as always with great quality and a great taste experience. This time - a little late here in March - Mardi Gras Buns.. only 120 pieces :-) , and early in the season, Strawberry tarts, which they made even though it's not yet spring... Jummi Jummi But isn't it beautiful?

Great bakery filled with great people. Shoutout to Jessie for being such a great owner. It’s filled with delicious pastries and you even have the option to have gluten free and vegan options, as well as being able to order customized cake for birthdays or such events. Oh and they have cute workers.

Best cakes and coffee in town. Everybody should visit this place.

A gem in Valby! High quality bakery with top notch service. Jessie and Mor were super kind, hardworking, and professional. We tried Xmas pastry and Latte with oats milk which were delicious. Fantastic variety of cakes, pastries, pizzas and snacks. Excited to try more of these in the future. A must visit!
