California American Restaurant Frederikshavn

We have just been to Restaurant California, and celebrated my fiancé's birthday. I had called and booked a table, and told him that we were celebrating a birthday. There was already a flag on the table, and what a cozy place. The food, T-bone steak and fish fillet were perfectly cooked. When we had eaten, one of the staff comes with a Banana Split, with a sparkler, and a big smile. We can only say good things about the restaurant, the smiling staff and good cuisine. A wonderful place 😁👍

The service was adequate, and the restaurant was pleasantly empty, allowing for a peaceful meal. The drinks were also good – although you can't really go wrong with a Coke or water. The food was decent and filling, but it lacked a certain freshness and finesse. The occasional beeping from the microwave unfortunately explained things and gave the impression that not everything was freshly prepared. In short: You'll leave satisfied, and the service is fine, but there's definitely room for improvement in the food.
