Beautiful food. "Best sandwich I've ever had" was my wife's comment. The "deconstructed cheesecake"was amazing!!

This restaurant is the most popular one among the row of eateries near Nyhavn. They offer outdoor seating with heating, and tourists who feel cold can request to sit indoors. The indoor area is relatively warmer, but not warm enough to take off your coat completely. A diner at the next table confidently took off their coat after seating, only to feel cold again and put it back on after ordering… 🐟Fish & Chips This seems to be the main highlight on the menu. I’m not sure if the menu has changed, but when I visited, they no longer offered the lamb chops or steak that previous diners had posted online. I even showed the server a photo, but was told they don’t serve those items. The fried fish was done in a home-style way — the breadcrumb coating was relatively thin, allowing the flavor of the fish to come through. Diners get two pieces of fish, which is a decent portion. However, anyone who has dined at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant would know that even simple fish and chips can be elevated in creativity and execution. The sauce served with the fish and chips wasn’t as good as the one served with another main course: 🍔Beef Burger This dish had a more creative sauce pairing — the avocado 🥑 had a creamy, milky flavor that gave the fries a richer taste. The patty was made of ground beef, not whole-cut steak, and it was not fully cooked — parts of it were still raw. While raw beef can offer a smoother texture, diners who dislike raw meat may avoid this option. The burger came with raw arugula, which has a slightly bitter taste that helped balance the greasiness of the beef. 🧋Hot Chocolate Incredibly rich and intense — a must-try for those who don’t like coffee. A hot sip of this thick chocolate drink in cold weather instantly boosts your happiness. It even comes topped with cold milk foam, adding another layer of texture. The restaurant also has a very well-equipped restroom. There's hot water, soap, and even paper towels for drying your hands. However, the gender signs on the door are written in the local language, so tourists who don’t understand Danish may enter the wrong restroom by mistake. It’s recommended that the restaurant add clear male/female signage, especially since the place receives so many tourists. Overall, this restaurant offers well-prepared, high-quality food — it’s a safe choice with no unpleasant surprises. That said, it’s not the most cost-effective. You could get similar quality ingredients for about two-thirds of the price in Singapore, and even cheaper elsewhere. Of course, low value-for-money is a general issue in this area, not something unique to this restaurant.

Staff nice, service ok, maybe they refill the cutlery box with cutlery and napkins more often. Nice location. Ordered skagensrød toast, very poor, not so much on a very small bread toast. Could have been a little more on the plate, it was just Skagen mess, still you pay SEK 125. Quite a lot for that. Change the recipe and offer a sandwich instead, so add stuff for this price. 👍

We had reserved a table in the middle of the hustle and bustle at this restaurant on the canal, which was offered to us outside in the beautiful sun. Despite the high volume, the service was very attentive and courteous. The service staff were very experienced and at first glance seemed very stuck in their routines, but were very present and super friendly, even though it was like a dovecote. The wine was very good, as were the dishes, which were seasoned to perfection. We had tartare with herbs, pickles and mustard, moules frites with delicious herb aioli, plaice in nut butter and a creamy cheesecake. A real tip!

Ok, men heller ikke meget mere. Det generelle niveau er lavere end tidligere - maden var ok men ikke noget særligt, serveringspersonalet ufaglært og ikke særligt rutineret men venlige. Desværre er stemningen af en god gammel dansk restaurant forsvundet. Som sagt ok, men havde forventet mere.

Le long du port, nous nous sommes arrêtés ici au CAP HORN!! Agréable découverte. Entrées hareng zu curry et salon gravlax suivies de burgers parfaits accompagnés et frites maison ! Enfin dessert intéressant sans plus mais bon... Service impeccable par des jeunes professionnels et sympathiques !
