Capa Lounge København

I had a nice dinner including 2 glasses of wine for DK 1185. The beef tartar appetizer was good including great goose liver and I liked the angel hair potatoes at the base. The butter steak is a bit hyped in my opinion. It was excellent, came in my top 5 of steaks, but I guess I had hoped it would be a clear number 1. Something went wrong with my fries. Clearly the cook who prepared them was not motivated to serve the customers good food. See pictures. They were also too salty. The chef did not check this before they went out, even though visually you could already see this was not up to the pricey standards of the restaurant. The waiter also had no problem to put them on my table. Then I had 2 options: complain and get a new serving which would probably arrive by the time the steak was almost finished or scrape off the excess salt and cut off the bad pieces. I chose for the last option. All the time I was scraping the salt and cutting the fries, and my side plate was filling up, the waiter did not come and asked if everything was OK. I sent the remains back to the kitchen and the restaurant offered me a free coffee, which was good compensation. I hope both kitchen staff and waiters have learned to improve from this incident.

Great food and service but cramped side seating, tables were too close together

My best friend and I were at Capa today, for an August Menu, including wine menu, wow, how good were all the dishes! Fantastic taste, good wine pairings, lovely atmosphere, and not least, our server Rikke was alert, smiling, service minded and went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely evening, the food was fantastic, Rikke ensured a future visit, thank you so much for the food

We held our wedding party for 60 people at the restaurant in the basement room which was a fantastic experience, all our guests were very happy with the whole thing and the day and the food are often talked about. We came again on our 1 year wedding anniversary and we simply had a completely fantastic experience, both food, wine, atmosphere and service were again top notch. Thank you!🙏🤩🤩

Far too slow service. 3.5 hours for 5 dishes is over an hour too much. The food was ok.

Fine place but the price/quality is a bit in the low end. We had the 8 course meal which took 4 hours to serve. A bit in the high end. They play around with different tastes. Some work better than others. We had a dessert with strawberries and some herb oil which I was not that fund of. The butter steak is good but nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion.

Fantastic evening, incredibly delicious food and excellent service. Andrea was the star of our night! What a gem of staff you have there! We came here because it was recommended to us. And we can (and will) only recommend it to others. It was a really lovely evening. Thank you for that!

We had booked a birthday dinner/all-evening event tonight, with their August menu for 550 kr per person and wine menu for almost 800 kr per person. We had the two most pleasant, competent waiters and the best side table, where we also had good conversations. Great food and good information about the dishes and wines along the way from the waiters. There were no stupid questions 🙂 when we left we got a small Cava to take home as a gift in cellophane, as it was my husband's birthday🥰🇩🇰 thank you for a fantastic evening❤️ we will definitely be back 😃

The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were mostly in contact with Andrea and Victor, who were very attentive to us. The food and wine were amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience
