Resturant Capa must have tested their steak sandwich, for which there are towering expectations, as they have previously been awarded 2nd place in Denmark's best steak sandwich. Came at 12.00 to a reserved table and was greeted by super smiling staff and we ordered immediately. The food came after approx. 30 minutes and it was a world-class presentation of the food where hot sauce and various onions etc. were poured over the bun and steak form our eyes. I have said before that I don't understand why you don't pour the sauce over at the table as it gives the customer an experience. THANKS, that's how it should be done. The steak sandwich itself looks supremely delicious and presents itself very nicely on the plate. I could go into great detail with all the delicious things in it, but just summarize. EVERYTHING in this steak sandwich tastes superb, every bite has its own nuance, whether it's the crazy potato bun or the pickled beetroot or one of the many onion and compote varieties. WOW. The sauce and the steak are a chapter by themselves. Steak maybe 225 grams was lovely Rosa fried in the middle with crispy fried crust, sauce yes the birds are still singing. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We have traveled all over DK and tasted steak sandwiches with sauce. Among them Ella in Horsens, Rasses in Skanderborg, Panorama in Silkeborg and Havnen pølser in Århus. Nothing beats Capa. DKK 185 for this food experience makes it DK's best steak sandwich. Period.

Delicious meat and very delicious side dishes. They try to mix a bit of high class steak house with child friendly. It worked out very well, but I think it goes beyond the guests who come without children. The atmosphere was perhaps a little too loose for the prices. It's nice that the waiters joke around and have fun, but I would think that when you serve wine and food it might require a little more than just saying the name of the dish. The roasting of the steak was close to perfect btw. The price was not the highest for a steak house, but neither was the overall experience. Although I had children with me. 😄 Think it will have to be tried again for a late serving with cocktail and wine.

The summer offer of an 8-course menu with accompanying wine menu is absolutely recommended.

I don't really know what to say, except that the experience was once "mixed candies". The much talked about butter steak turned out to be half cooked. Absolutely edible, but at a level not above what you find in an average bistro in the province. The guests at the next table complained immediately, while I myself was a coward and waited until I had to pay for the dinner. I had ordered the wine menu with 6 glasses of wine. A glass was forgotten and compensated with an espresso! In addition, there was a lot to say about the "summer menu". For the price, however, there are better alternatives out there.
