The service is very slow even when the restaurant isn't crowded! Little staff for service and cooking. Ordered at the kiosk and took at least 10 minutes to pick up. Ordered takeout to eat in on the terrace, my burger was cold even though it had just been made... It's a shame because it wasn't that bad. The interior ambiance isn't great, and the restrooms were dirty.

Carl's in Nyborg is actually an okay place to stop in for some food on the way either to or from Zealand. The restaurant is located quite close to a number of charging stations, so you don't have to walk that far while you stop and charge the car. The food is quite okay, of the same standard as most other places. Bonus is that refills on soda are free.

30/09/2025: Fantastic location, even after a long day, and a view of several hours of driving before we get home, and summer has just ended for this year. It must be even more fantastic on a warm summer day / evening. There are ships in the water and green areas and birds chirping. The grill itself is large, with indoor and outdoor dining. But we had to take it with us in the car😪 The food was well prepared, and there is the option to buy beer, exciting wine, to go, by the glass, we must enjoy that. There is also the option to buy ice cream cones, with many exciting ice creams. There are also slot machines. But it is strictly forbidden to feed the birds. Service ????.. A charming and cozy place
04/08/2025: Nice traditional grill bar. Have a danish hotdog or a pork sandwich! Nice ice cream too.
