Charlie's Bar København

Great Bar in the center of Copenhagen. It's exactly what a bar needs to be! Nothing fancy just beers and drinks (not the fancy kind). Place is always crowded in particular on weekends. Don't ever change!

Very nice but there are often too many people

No food served, but very cozy spot. Highly recommended. Service could be nicer - kinda tired of bartenders who don’t speak Danish (or pretend not to).

Only place in copenhagen that has real ale, and knows how to look after it!

Amazing real ale pub in the centre of Copenhagen that could have been transplanted from middle England. Perfectly kept ale and an amazing ambience. Digna was amazing, looked after us perfectly, and even (when pushed) suggested the bars she would go to, rather than the tourist hangouts!!! A perfect experience!

A nice little beer bar in Copenhagen.

If you give this place less than 5* then you don't deserve good places like this. An incredible bar that will make you rethink the role of the 'theme pub' in city centres. Normally the prospect of a British pub abroad would be a signal to steer clear, or at least leave the locals to try and enjoy such a tacky old thing. Charlie's rips up that corporate template, offering both high quality independent brewed beer - including several cask lines which are immaculate - with an intimate, social, pubby and lived-in environment that comfortably clears the low bar set by the average theme pub, while setting the marker very high in general. In all of Copenhagen there are very few bars that can compete either with its drinks offerings, or the venue as a whole. An absolute must-visit.

The place is tiny. In the evening it’s pretty crowded and you can barely move. Beer it’s interesting.
