I've been coming here since the beginning. Always excellent steaks. Very good service. However, it's annoying that they now beg for tips.

This wonderful place, which has been here since 1977, is still alive. Here you get the best steak in Central Denmark 💪 whether you choose tenderloin, ribeye or fillet, you always get a super delicious tender and flavorful piece of meat. Served by wonderful, welcoming waiters And the steak always comes with warm bread, a super salad bar and potatoes of your choice.. no need to buy it on the side👍 It's definitely worth a visit if you're into quality meat and good service 😋😀

Good food and a huge plus with a children's menu. But the service could be better, and the restaurant itself is not so cozy, as many tables are too close to each other.

Restaurant Sankt Jørgen Herning

07/06/2026: We had a lovely visit to Restaurant Sankt Jørgen. We came to taste their roast pork, which came with both parsley sauce and onion sauce, in addition to the obligatory potatoes and beetroot. It was a delicious meal and one of the best roast pork meals we Copenhageners have had on the Jutland heath. We finished the meal with their homemade kransekage and a little fire in a baked Alaska before we could roll home full. The staff were nice and helpful and the chef clearly knew how to cook a good roast pork.
06/06/2026: Such lovely food served by the sweetest waiters in cozy surroundings, nothing to fault.
