Really lovely traditional danish food. Lovely atmosphere served quickly and not expensive for Copenhagen

Wanted to experience traditional Danish food and we found Chicky's. Gritty place but cozy, loved the food and atmosphere. We were the only tourists there eating and this is exactly what you want, when you want to try a proper local dish! We loved the crispy pork!

The atmosphere and decor are dated but pleasant and welcoming. Friendly staff, excellent traditional food, and generous portions. Highly recommended!

Chicky Grill is the kind of place you hope never goes away. Everything is old-fashioned, a little worn and very authentic. No fancy decor or fancy touches – just classic Danish food, cold beers and lots of atmosphere. We had a pork roast sandwich and fries, and it tasted exactly as it should. A cozy and very Copenhagen place, definitely worth a visit.

The reviews are good, but we didn't find what we were expecting. The door glass was broken. If you don't pay much attention to details like this, you can go to try the food. It's good to keep in mind that it's self-service. There are many options in Denmark. I didn't find this place as successful as described.

I heard great things about this place, but it’s closed until July 27, so we unfortunately couldn’t try it.
