Enjoyed a very nice dinner at Cholon during our recent trip to Copenhagen. The highlight for us was the starters - the dumplings, crispy chicken spring rolls and cucumber salad. All three dishes were delicious. The two main dishes were also good, although not quite as stand out as the starters. Service was friendly and attentive and, overall reasonable value for money. Non EU card holders should be aware this restaurant adds approx 2.5% surcharge for using debit or credit cards.

Good place to take a meal outside

The food was really tasty (We had the vegan Spring rolls + Rice noodles and pho) and the outside seating area was very nice.

Cholan is a great spot for Vietnamese cuisine. As a big fan of Vietnamese food, I had to give it a try, and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered three different dishes to share – the noodle salad with chicken springrolls, the beef with lemongrass, and the wontons in soup. All of them were beautifully made and packed with flavor. I also got a delicious home made lemonade. A special mention goes to the staff – all young men who were incredibly kind, polite, and service-minded. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out and added to the overall experience. Also very reasonable priced. 5 out of 5 stars for the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.

We love Vietnamese food! Having tried most places in Copenhagen, we also had to try out Cholon, and that was a good choice! We had the wonton, which were accompanied by a delicious sauce. The had the beef with lemon grass, why also tasted great, and so did the crispy spring rolls. Would order every single of the dished again. Next time we will be back to check out the Pho, so see how it compares to the stiff competition from Mr Pho and Pho Hanoi. The building was also cute on the outside, and a great atmosphere on the inside with images from Vietnam, cute lantern lamps, and plenty of cozy seating. The service is considerate and excellent by the young men. A big recommendation from here!

We went here for Dinner and decided for the menu of the day, a “surprise” selection of dishes by the chef. We were served an excellent small soup, three starters and a main dish. All of them were super delicious, authentic and fresh. The young staff was extremely friendly and we liked the cozy and stylish atmosphere a lot. Highly recommended!

The food quality is good, but don't expect authentic Vietnamese food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes the menu is budget friendly.

We had a wonderful lunch on the sunny terrace. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was perfect!
