17/03/2025: Absolutely amazing place! The rooms are so cosy, luxurious and well maintained. The hotel exudes cosiness, service and quality. Had the pleasure of being served dinner in OKE with accompanying wine menu, a taste experience out of the ordinary, definitely worthy of a ⭐️! Will come again soon.
08/03/2025: Almost 5 stars, but unfortunately the rooms are a huge let down.
We were here for a stay, primarily to participate in the Shellfish Evening, but the prices for the rooms do not match at all what you get and it is a shame in such a fine place. Rooms (in this price range) should be of the same high quality as food and service, which by the way was top class and fully met our expectations and we have tried a bit of everything!
The food, on the other hand, was nothing less than sumptuous and extravagant - just as we had expected and hoped for at this high price. At the same time, being served by the legend himself - Michel Michaud - was the icing on the cake and a pleasure to experience.
All ingredients were in a class at the very high end and you feel, as a huge food enthusiast, a joy in eating these exquisite dishes.
Last but not least, the stay was concluded the following day with Ruth's famous breakfast buffet, which also lived up to the rumours.
Only the rooms - price versus what-you-get - disappointed greatly, due to poor value-for-money compared to what you could expect, but we would like to come again for the food - next time maybe for the truffle evening...
