Nice place, but today's menu with their beef is a sad piece of meat for 260-300kr... moules frites were delicious though. They should try again with the steaks

Friday 26.6.2026 The temperature showed 31 g during the day and 24 g in the evening. We check in at Riva Bistro for the evening, where we choose to sit outside due to the heat. A friendly waiter takes our order and here we ask if we can also ask for regular tap water due to the heat. At various festivals (Copenhell, Tinderbox, Roskilde Festival) they have decided to hand out free bottled water due to the high temperatures. We just ask for tap water. A 70 cl bottle comes in for the easy sum of 102 kr. We are not informed of this amount, but only see it when we have to pay our bill. If a small family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, would quickly get rid of 200 - 300 kr. just for 70cl water, before they have even ordered food and various drinks! I have been to Riva Bistro quite a few times but this is simply rude. Some of their other prices have also gone completely off the charts. That was my last time at Riva Bistro.
