Great bakery and I’ve been a few times on visits. Was a little sad the last time with the service. I misheard the employee behind the counter at one point when I was ordering in my jet lagged state. The other worker asked if she should speak Danish to me while bringing out my tea. The first told her, “Hun taler ikke helt rigtigt,” and to speak English to me, which would have been fine except of course I understood everything they were saying. I’m aware my Danish isn’t perfect by any means, but it was sad and depressing to have someone say that loudly in earshot over breakfast assuming it’s so bad I can’t understand them. I know they get a lot of tourists and maybe they were just trying to be helpful, but just not a great experience this time. I still recommend the pastry and tea though!

Hmmm...very very very nice cakes and sweets. Very nice hot chocolate 😀. And a selection of cookies in the shop upstairs.

Very amazing little cake shop. I wanted to try everything but only got a few items the coffee was also really delicious. I would recommend trying this place with a group so you can get a bunch of different things!

The interior design of the place is impressive. It has an elegant feel to it. The tables are a bit close together, which made the experience slightly uncomfortable. They only serve traditional black filter coffee, with milk on the side if you’d like. The taste was pretty average, but the fact that you can get a refill is a nice touch. For dessert, we tried the Sportskage and a chocolate cake. The chocolate cake would definitely be the right choice for hardcore chocolate lovers, but it was a bit too heavy for me. The Sportskage, on the other hand, was excellent. I’d come back just for that. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s worth waiting in a long line for, but if there isn’t much of a queue, it’s definitely worth a visit especially for the Sportskage.

A good atmospheric pastry shop. Both desserts that we ordered were very tasty. We only looked at the price of tea in the check and it was better not to look - 10 euros 😁 Desserts also all cost about 10-12 euros.

Hoy he visitado esta pastelería después de llegar a Copenhague esta mañana. A menudo trato de visitar pastelería histórica cuando voy al extranjero. Disfruté el ambiente allí, sentí el estilo retro y fue como volver atrás en el tiempo. Por supuesto que el lugar era realmente precioso, sin embargo el té que bebí era muy bueno y la rebanada de pastel muy delicioso. Creo que de vez en cuando podemos tratarnos con este tipo de experiencia
