A delicious, historic pastry shop in the center of Copenhagen. Very crowded, but worth it.

.. A very popular historic place and particularly noisy inside. Good selection of lactose-free cakes. Too bad they DON'T serve HOT cappuccino or lactose-free milk... It comes from the fridge, which is very cold, and if you ask for HOT MILK, it arrives at room temperature..

Tourist trap. Everything looks amazing, staff is very friendly but that’s it. The taste was below mediocre for everything I have tried there. While paying 80+ DKK per position I would expect divine experience, not below average.

We had a snack on the terrace, it was a very pleasant moment, the pastries were divine, as was the hot chocolate! And the service was very good, thank you!

Lovely cakes, lots of space inside to sit. You have to visit here!

I have no idea what I’m eating now but it’s soooo good. A stuff recommended me this one—she said it kinda like a traditional danish. It might pricey but I think it worth

The fresh cream cake is refreshing and not overly sweet. I recommend ordering the first cake listed in the signature menu. It pairs wonderfully with Darjeeling black tea. You can even re-brew it!

We had the Volmer Cake and the Spring Cake and they were top notch. There was nothing wrong. Not overly sweet, the combination of sweet chocolate truffles and sour mouses were well balanced. Both of cakes paired well with americano. The prices are in the range of pattiseries of this calibre and reputation. The best time to visit is late afternoon before closing that is after 4 pm, otherwise there is line up especially during lunch time.
