16/03/2025: I recently visited Al Basha in Nørrebro, and unfortunately, my experience was somewhat disappointing. The kunafa itself was decent—acceptable, but not anything extraordinary. It didn’t quite live up to the high expectations I had for this kind of dessert. One of the major downsides, however, was the ordering system, which was quite chaotic. It felt unorganized and made the whole process a bit frustrating. As for the staff, they were okay, but the service wasn’t particularly exceptional. They were friendly enough, but nothing stood out in terms of attention or enthusiasm. Overall, the experience felt mediocre—nothing that would make me want to rush back. While it wasn’t terrible, it definitely didn’t leave a lasting impression. If you're in the area and craving kunafa, it's worth trying, but don't expect anything extraordinary from the experience. Bonus: They also had an interesting level of inconsistency - one day it was good paper -based branded packaging with branding on the bags, next day generic terrible styrofoam packaging without any branding, not even the bags!
