21/07/2026: A beautiful spot right beside the Reffen Food Market and right on the edge of the water. I visit Mikkeller Baghaven every time I'm in Copenhagen. The beer is great and they have some very interesting brews as this is more of their test facility. You can also bring food over from the market and enjoy it at Mikkeller Baghaven, inside or outside on the patio. There's no better place to come and enjoy a beer on a nice day.

14/07/2026: Another of the plethora of Mikkeller locations in Copenhagen, this one has the sole redeeming factor that it is right next to a bunch of food stalls. EDIT: I'm updating the rating a little, as I realized I was a bit too harsh on some local reviews in Copenhagen, though I am leaving the original review at the top. While it is true that they are located next to a bunch of food stalls, some of which have really good food, Mikkeller Baghaven does have other things going for it, in the fact that they have a lot of room for large groups, both indoors and outdoors. The staff was pleasant, no hate towards the staff. They also had a very large selection of beers, all of them are Mikkeller. I tried four different beers while I was there, none of them tasted good to me. They did not have either of the two dark stouts that I found at other Mikkeller locations, and during my visit did not have a single dark beer. As someone who has been drinking Guinness for over 25 years, I prefer darker beers, and my original review was based on the fact that I spent a couple of hours at a party without having anything to drink that I thought tasted good. I eventually went next door to the food stalls for dinner, and while wandering around I found a place that sold Guinness in a can, so I was able to sit outside and drink a couple cans of that. It started raining at one point, and I did not feel right trying to bring a Guinness into the Mikkeller bar, so I stayed outside and got rained on, but a couple other people stayed out as well, so it wasn't a terrible experience. I will also point out that I was not specifically told I couldn't bring a Guinness into the bar, so I certainly don't hold it against the staff or anything.
