Cozy surroundings, good food and you can bring your dog with you

Super delicious sandwiches and open sandwiches. Cozy courtyard and very smiling and friendly service. Definitely recommended.

Good and delicious food. We had the small sandwiches and tapas platter. Both were worth the money. The service was particularly gracious, fast and professional. The last star would have been revealed by a lift in the small things. For example, regarding the sandwiches, 2 of them could have had toasted rye bread under them. The quality of the bread was absolutely OK, but putting 4 pieces of bread in a row and slapping cold cuts on them is sooooo "nogo" if you want to be top notch. IMHO!

Lovely food and really good service

Fantastically delicious food in a lovely, bright room. Not a finger to put on my sandwich - but oh, I was envious of the open sandwiches one of my companions got. Lovely staff who care about the guests - you can feel the commitment! The courtyard looked lovely, but unfortunately it rained in Stege that day.

We ate four variations of smørebrød here. Each was cleverly decorated in its own way and complemented with lovingly crafted flavors. Highly recommended!

We had the crispy sandwich with Brie and Serrano ham and the salad with warm goat cheese. Both were delicious, and the salads were crisp and fresh. Unfortunately, it was pouring with rain that day, so we couldn't sit in the cozy courtyard. However, the seats in the café are also comfortable. A diverse crowd, very friendly staff, and a good atmosphere rounded out our visit, which was planned as a "small afternoon snack" but then turned into a main meal due to the large portions.

Always a lovely lunch at David's and good service. Could have thought of a slightly better selection of beers on the day.

Very nice service and cozy place. Have a good caffe latte with oat milk 😀
